The New Normal: COVID-19
Physiq Fitness on Waverly Dr. SE in Albany, Oregon, has many new regulations to keep its members safe during physical distancing for COVID-19. There are new max capacities of 100 people to limit the number of members in each class and building. Cleaning spray bottles are handed out to each member to clean the equipment before and after use. Physiq Fitness is becoming well-known for the management and the precautions taken for COVID-19. Their new business hours are Monday-Friday 4AM-9PM, Saturday 6AM-8PM, and Sunday from 7AM-2PM.
In Albany, Oregon, a Safeway worker, Kobe Brown, follows regulations to keep customers safe during COVID-19. All customers and employees are required, per state mandate, to wear face masks while grocery shopping. Brown cleans the machines and conveyer belt after each customer to keep up with sanitation. Safeway has also included a max capacity of customers to keep up with social distancing.

Due to COVID-19, employees serving food and drinks must wash their hands, put on surgical gloves, and keep their masks on while helping behind a plastic protector. After serving, sanitation begins before returning to their other work. Tape arrows line the floor to keep traveling through the business in separate directions.
